What is used on your device

Sign-in and security

Supabase session cookies (names beginning sb-) and administrator-session cookies maintain authentication and security. Lifetimes depend on session and provider settings; signing out ends the applicable session.

Your preferences

The lang cookie lasts up to one year. Theme, language, animation and sidebar choices can remain in local storage until changed or cleared. They store preferences rather than student records.

Form progress

Draft inputs and workflow handoffs use tab session storage. Browsers may restore that data when restoring a session. Clear draft inputs and sign out on shared devices.

Analytics choice

specialedai-analytics-choice-v1 stores your choice, policy version and expiry in local storage for 180 days. If storage is blocked, a choice may last only on the current page.

Optional public analytics

Vercel Web Analytics loads only after consent, on selected public pages. It processes page/request metadata without advertising cookies or session replay. We filter page URLs and do not send workspace paths, form values or document content as analytics events.

Consent and withdrawal

Using the site or closing a notice is not consent. Essential only and Allow analytics have equal prominence. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement; it cannot undo events previously processed. A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal keeps optional analytics off, even if an older choice allowed it. Browser/device choices are separate.

External services and browser controls

Checkout and sign-in providers may use their own necessary storage when you visit them. We do not embed social feeds, maps, ad networks or video players. Security/error requests and necessary service communications are separate from optional analytics.

Your browser can clear or block cookies and local/session storage. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in or remembering your preferences. See Privacy & data for providers and contact details.
